OASIS IN THE DESERT

In the utmost South of Morocco at the end of the 200 km long oasis of the river Draa you find Dar Paru surrounded by its spacious and beautiful oasis garden. The dirt road ends here - from now on nothing but desert - plains of sand and sand dunes until the horizon. And: the sun, a deep blue sky, warm winds and a silence so profound that you can hear it.

Here you´ll live in one of the charming single and twin bedrooms or in a suite of the restored original desert house, or outside in the garden in an independent suite/bungalow, or in a berber "tent"- house. Each room with its own bathroom and terrace. There is a big roof garden, a pool/water reservoir filled with mineral water from the well where you can swim and which is emptied every three days into the palm- and desert trees, into the flowers and the big vegetable garden. There is a meditation room and a big meditation terrace as well as beautiful places in the garden for you to relax.

And there is: the desert. It begins with its sand dunes directly in front of the garden door.

The team is here to receive you and cook delicious light and healthy vegetarian or non vegetarian meals for you - European or Moroccan food with lots of vegetables and herbs from the garden, and home-made delicious whole wheat bread, crêpes and cakes.
